Stop by Registration to pick up your badge and other materials. Registration is located in the Ginkoberry Concourse on Level 1.

OSCON Office Hours

Office Hours give you a chance to meet face-to-face with some of our speakers. No sign-ups are necessary. Just stop by the Office Hours area in the Expo Hall to discuss the speaker's area of expertise, give feedback about their sessions, or ask questions. See the schedule and list of participating speakers.

Tribe Tables at Lunch

Find and connect with other like-minded people during lunch at tables designated for certain languages, technologies, and interests. Look for the signs on the tables near the buffet lines each day at lunch.

Play the All Star Trading Card Game and Win a Baseball Shirt + Other Prizes

Test your scavenger and negotiation skills at OSCON this year. We've created 20 unique trading cards based on all-star open source technologies and languages. Wireless Internet Access

Wireless Internet will be available throughout the conference area. There is no password required to access the OSCON wireless network. Please keep in mind that you're sharing the network with your fellow OSCON attendees, so please refrain from downloading large files while on the conference network. If you need assistance getting online, please visit the customer service desk in Registration or send a message to @oscon.

Official OSCON T-shirt

If your pass includes the official OSCON t-shirt, you can pick it up at Registration starting at 10:00am Wednesday, July 18.

Live Streaming, Speaker Slides, and Video Recordings

Live Streaming
We will be live streaming all of the keynote presentations and a handful of sessions, as well as interviews, news reports, and other live coverage from the event. (view the live stream schedule.) These presentations will also be available for viewing on the OSCON YouTube channel after the convention.

Speaker Slides

We'll be posting speaker slides as we get them, however keep in mind not all speakers choose to make their slides available for download.

Video Recordings
We will be recording all breakout sessions in the following tracks: Data, Java & JVM, JavaScript & HTML5, and Programming (subject to the permission of the presenter). Attendees may purchase this Video Sampler, containing the recordings from all four tracks, for an additional $400 as an add-on to any OSCON package. The sampler will be available to purchasers (to view/download) approximately three weeks after the convention ends. If you would like to purchase the Video Sampler, please contact confreg@oreilly.com.

Online Attendee Directory

The Online Attendee Directory for OSCON is open. See who else will be at OSCON this year, set up your personal profile, message other attendees, and manage your contacts. You must be registered for the event and have opted-in to the Attendee Directory in order to begin using it.

Set Up Your Personal Schedule

Create your own OSCON agenda using the personal scheduler function. Mark the presentations and events you want to attend by clicking on the calendar icon next to each listing on the website. You can then access it by clicking on the "personal schedule" link in the Schedule View page.

Printed versions of the daily schedule will also be available throughout the conference area.

Rate or Comment on the Tutorials and Sessions You Attend

Have a question or comment for a speaker? Post them in the "Add New Comment" field found at the bottom of any session detail page. Please keep in mind that your comments will be public.

You can also rate any of the sessions you attend on the OSCON mobile app. Just click on the set of stars on the session description page to submit your rating.
