The Alternative PHP Cache is an opcode and variable cache for PHP that provides high performance to demanding web applications. I’ll cover the fundamentals of the APC cache and how it can be leveraged to improve PHP performance, scalability, and end user experience. Recent changes and additions to the project will be discussed and some exciting possibilities for the future of APC. Attendees should have a solid understanding of the PHP/Apache environment, configuration, and language.
