MariaDB is a fork of Sun’s MySQL product. This talk will present how
MariaDB is both similar to and different from MySQL, in both social and
technical senses. Users and developers that rely upon a solid SQL
server in their workplace or hobby environments will learn: how to begin
using MariaDB, how to participate in MariaDB development, how the
project is structured, and how MariaDB and the Open Database Alliance
may serve their needs both now and in the future.
