To say things shift quickly in the JavaScript world is an understatement. In 2013, when Sergio Cruz first learned Angular, he used simple script tags and global variables. In 2014, Sergio used yeoman generators with Grunt that grouped and minified files. In 2015, he adopted ES2015 modules and migrated to Gulp, Babel, and Browserify. Now it’s time to upgrade to Angular 2 and TypeScript, but how?

Drawing on his learning and development experience, Sergio explores the evolution of the Angular framework and demonstrates how to convert an Angular 1 application to Angular 2. Follow along as Sergio shares his personal Angluar journey and does some live-coding showcasing how to upgrade a sample app. You’ll leave prepared to upgrade your own apps.
