InnerSource Day at OSCON is a gathering of industry practitioners discussing real-world implementations of this open source, community-inspired, transformational approach to software development within the enterprise.

Innersource was inspired by the pervasive spread of open source software throughout the areas of operating systems, cloud computing, programming languages, JavaScript frameworks, and elsewhere. A number of companies, led by PayPal and their InnerSource Commons, are adopting the practices of the powerful open source movement to create an internal company collaboration under the rubric InnerSource.

This one-day event is centered around 25-minute sessions detailing the experience of those leading the way in the InnerSource movement including leading Internet commerce facilitator, PayPal.

Do you have a story to share about how you’ve implemented InnerSource in your organization? We want to hear about your successes and failures to build the community and practice of Innersource. Attendees will learn how InnerSource can benefit engineers, management, and ultimately, customers.

InnerSource Day is sponsored by PayPal.
