Description

Concourse is a simple, scalable open source CI/CD tool with pipelines and containers at its core. As an OSS project sponsored by Pivotal, Concourse has become a mainstay in the Cloud Foundry community for deploying large infrastructures. Topher Bullock offers an overview of Concourse and walks you through using it to deploy and manage cloud platforms. You’ll learn how Concourse’s use of containerization and pipelines allows for flexible automation of continuous delivery and DevOps tasks and how the simple abstractions behind Concourse have been used successfully to deploy and manage Cloud Foundry. You’ll also see how Concourse’s concepts can apply to other cloud platforms.
