Douglas Blank was a professor of computer science for 23 years, most recently at Bryn Mawr College, an all-women’s college outside of Philadelphia. Doug is now Head of Research at Comet.ML, a machine learning start-up in NYC. He has developed many languages and tools for Jupyter. His academic research focused on combining artificial neural networks and robotics in order to give robots self-motivation.
