This is a 1-Day training course. Participants should plan to attend training courses on both Tuesday and Wednesday. To attend, you must register for a Platinum pass; does not include access to tutorials on Wednesday.

Vijay Reddy walks you through the process of building machine learning models with TensorFlow. You'll learn about data exploration, feature engineering, model creation, training, evaluation, deployment, and more.

What you'll learn, and how you can apply it

  • Learn how to build machine learning models with TensorFlow

Prerequisites:

Hardware and/or installation requirements:

Attendees should complete the following form: https://goo.gl/forms/ECsb4tX1L85dpxA92 which contains instructions for registrants to sign up for QwikLabs and to share their e-mail addresses.

Vijay Reddy walks you through the process of building machine learning models with TensorFlow. You’ll learn about data exploration, feature engineering, model creation, training, evaluation, deployment, and more as you explore machine learning (ML) and TensorFlow fundamentals and get hands-on experience developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models.

Outline

  • Getting started with machine learning: How to explore and split large data sets correctly (using SQL and pandas on BigQuery and Cloud Datalab)
  • Building ML models with TensorFlow: Developing a wide-and-deep machine learning model in TensorFlow on a small sample locally
  • Feature engineering: How to bring human insight into ML problems through better feature representations and feature engineering
  • Distributed model training, inference, and deployment: Scaling out the model training to multiple machines, deploying a trained model as a REST microservice, and invoking predictions from a web application
