Rusty Talbot joined Synteractive in 2006 and is a Director in the Public Sector practice. In this capacity, Rusty is responsible for ensuring that business solution engineering teams provide successful solutions to client problems.
At Synteractive, he has focused on supporting a large goverment organization in a myriad of transformation projects. Rusty and his team are working to transition the organization from a traditional command-and-control organization—arranged around a geographic hierarchy—into an agile, learning organization with functional experts collaborating across multiple dimensions of expertise. To achieve these goals, Rusty and his team have supported the Corporate Information Director in developing strategy, defining policy, and conducting business analysis, as well as architecting and implementing integrated solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. This has included the design and creation of scalable, enterprise-wide implementations of MOSS 2007 for internet, extranet, and intranet.
Prior to Synteractive Rusty worked as a strategic marketing consultant for the Monitor Group, where he developed marketing strategies for pharmaceutical medications. To develop best practices for his team’s marketing strategies, Rusty developed and analyzed complex qualitative and quantitative market research surveys.
Rusty graduated magna cum Laude from Dartmouth College, where he earned a BA with high honors in history and a minor in anthropology. A fun fact? Rusty has completed a 3-week expedition up Denali, the highest mountain peak in North America.
