A software architect and developer, Chris founded Infrared5 in 2007 with his wife Rebecca, and technical co-founder Dominick to deliver innovative interactive experiences. Infrared5 got its start creating, maintaining and consulting for the open source streaming server Red5. They’ve recently launched the Pro version of Red5 for mobile at http://red5pro.com. Chris formerly led Brass Monkey, a browser-based video game console that uses phones as controllers, and is now transitioning that technology into the Red5 Pro second screen toolset. With this vast knowledge of live streaming, he and his team are currently working on the WebRTC version of Red5 Pro. Chris co-authored the book “The Essential Guide to Open Source Flash,” and is a leader in the open source community. He regularly presents at video game, startup, technology and interactive conferences worldwide.
