The amount of code that gets shipped every day by Twitter’s ever-growing engineering organization is mind-boggling. Managing the risk of these increasingly larger code changes across teams and platforms demands a generalized and scalable solution. In this talk, you will learn about a system we have built that quantifies and tracks the risk of files in any given codebase to empower all the levels of the organization to make informed decisions regarding code changes and accurately evaluate the health of their projects. You’ll hear how this system works and what we have learned and accomplished through the data it has surfaced. This talk is about code risk management at Twitter scale.
