Convince Your Manager

You want to come to Fluent, and why wouldn't you? In just three days, you'll amp up your skills, learn new ways of tackling the challenges you face at work, and dive deep into discussions about best practices. But you're not sure how to convince your boss to send you. No problem. We can help you communicate the tangible benefits of the event to make your case.

The truth is, what you learn at Fluent will be worth your investment in time away from the office, many times over. And if you're worth your salary, you'll be even more valuable after Fluent. If there are other members of your team who would also benefit from being there, our Company Team Discount is our most popular discount and saves you 20 to 30 percent depending on the number of people you send.

Enough. Let's convince your boss.

Before Fluent: Get support for your attendance

During the Conference: Track the sessions you attend

  • With the Fluent app (or on the website) you can note the sessions you attend, which makes compiling your Fluent Trip Report much easier. Use the Personal Schedule (you can access it once you've registered), and we'll send you a recap of the sessions you attended.
  • A few weeks before the Fluent, the Attendee Directory becomes available, so you can start to note and contact the people you're interested in meeting.
  • Posting about your sessions on social media is a great way to record your personal Fluent favorites, and also let colleagues see what you're learning. Review your posts after the conference for a recap. The official Twitter hashtag is #fluentconf.

After the Conference: Create a report and share what you learned

  • Use your Personal Schedule and social media information and the Fluent Trip Report Template to create a report detailing what you gained from the conference. Supplement your own materials with speaker slides and keynote videos, posted during and after the event.
  • The 3-day All Access Pass comes with a Complete Video Compilation of all recorded presentations, so you can catch up on any sessions you missed and share with co-workers who were unable to attend. We’ve heard from previous Fluent attendees that this is a huge value.
