This talk will give an overview of what is most likely going to be in ECMAScript 6. ECMAScript 6 is the next version of the JavaScript standard. Its specification will be finished by the end of 2013. Modern browsers will probably have full support for ECMAScript 6 sometime in 2014, but they already support parts of it and that support will only increase as the specification evolves.
Dr. Axel Rauschmayer specializes in JavaScript and web technologies: he develops with them, writes about them, teaches them and organizes events about them.
He has been programming since 1985, developing web applications since 1995 and held his first talk on Ajax in 2006. In 1999, he was technical manager at an internet startup that later expanded internationally.
