Elliott Sprehn works for Google as a Tech Lead on Google Feedback, exposed to the world as the Send Feedback button on Google+ and a number of other products, including Chrome, Chrome OS, and Android. Elliott has worked on a variety of projects from network services, to realtime messaging systems, as well as a large number of web applications. He is a strong advocate of web standards and has participated in the HTML5 WG and WHATWG and now works closely with the teams at Google working on the standards related to the future of the web platform.

The web platform unfortunately doesn't provide a way to take screenshots or render fragments of HTML to a bitmap you could send in an email. This was the problem that Google Feedback set out to solve resulting in a full blown HTML rendering engine written in JavaScript .
