Artificial intelligence is the essential kernel of any chatbot, and AI has made breathtaking progress in the last few years. How to implement AI is an important strategic question for any bot creator: should you develop your own AI algorithms or make use of artificial intelligence as a service? How should you plan to include humans in the loop? To what degree do you need to specialize your AI models for the industry you’re working in?

Peter Skomoroch, an authority on data science and practical AI, offers a deep survey of the artificial intelligence landscape, covering recent developments, popular toolkits and services, and current thinking on strategies for AI.
