Interest in AI solutions has soared in the last two years. Traditional players in every industry, from healthcare to insurance to commerce and agriculture, want to know how this technology will impact their businesses.

At CB Insights, we have an eagle’s eye view of the entire AI ecosystem. Our platform crunches public and private market data, tracks what corporations are discussing on earnings calls, and surfaces emerging patent topics. We currently track over 3,000 AI startups and 5,000+ deals across 25+ verticals.

While every vertical has benefited from deep learning and better hardware processing, the bottlenecks and opportunities are unique to each sector. From pawnbrokers relying on AI to spot counterfeit luxury handbags to grocers partnering with robotic micro-fulfillment startups for last-mile logistics, business are experimenting with new ways of doing things. We will explore what is driving AI applications in different verticals and analyze emerging business models.
