What do the world’s most innovative and fastest growing companies have in common? They are in industries with a high level of VC funding. AI equity funding since 2012 is around $30B across 4,250 deals, and deals to AI startups have increased 4.6x in the past five years. Likewise, from 2016 to 2017, VC investment more than doubled, from $5.8B to $12.5B.

Accenture has analyzed five years of VC investment data to discover the AI use cases and technologies that are attracting the most money and will drive enterprise AI innovation. Diego Saenz explains where the top 10 investors in AI are placing big bets.
