Join us for the inaugural Startup Showcase at the AI Conference.

Our team of investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts has reviewed all submissions and invited nine finalists to present their technologies and tell their stories during the Startup Showcase on Monday, September 18. After meeting the companies at the showcase, our judges will select a winner, who will be announced during keynotes on Tuesday, September 19.

Judges

  • Sandeep Bhadra (Vertex Ventures)—Sandeep focuses primarily on cloud infrastructure, data-driven business applications, and cybersecurity at Vertex Ventures. Most recently, he was a principal at Menlo Ventures, where he focused on investments in infrastructure and data and machine learning-driven applications. His investments there included Platform9, Signifyd, Unravel Data, and Clarifai.
  • Brady Forrest (Highway1)—Brady cofounded Ignite, a talk series which has been held thousands of times around the world. He is also the cofounder of Highway1, a Bay Area hardware accelerator that has funded over 75 startups. He coauthored The Hardware Startup. He’s worked with 500 Startups and Khosla Ventures and chaired many O’Reilly technology conferences.
  • Nan Li (Obvious Ventures)—Nan brings a mixed technology, investing, and entrepreneurial background to Obvious Ventures. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Stanford on venture capital. Nan has been a venture investor and advisor for the past five years, working with companies using technology to solve big problems.
  • Jason Franklin (Lightspeed Venture Partners)—Jason is a partner on the enterprise investment team at Lightspeed Venture Partners. His focus areas include enterprise infrastructure and infrastructure that enables robotic and autonomous systems. Previously, he was a partner on the investment team at Andreessen Horowitz, a venture partner at Avalon Ventures, and a research associate and visiting lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University.
  • Ivy Nguyen (Zetta Ventures)—Ivy brings over four years of experience as an investor and startup advisor in the technology space at Zetta Ventures. Previously, Ivy was a senior associate at venture capital firm NewGen Capital, where she sourced and led investments in several companies, including Constructor, NuCypher, Assembly, and AgriData; she also managed the startup accelerator program at Imagine H2O, where she supported over 40 water tech startups from over 14 countries by connecting them to the program’s growing network of investors, mentors, and pilot partners at major Fortune 1000 companies.
