Developers using C or C++ for their apps are finding that tools have lagged behind support for Java. Community involvement at Eclipse and AOSP is improving this situation. In this session, learn what NDK support involves and how to get involved as a contributor. Also, go through several of the common workflows to see how to add C and C++ features to your apps.

Eric Cloninger is the Product Line Manager for MOTODEV Tools and the lead for the Eclipse Foundation Sequoyah project. At Motorola Mobility, he leads a team of developers working on open source projects and products targeting Android mobile devices. When he’s away from the IDE, Eric spends his time hiking, kayaking and photographing the world around him. Eric is an alumnus of the Oklahoma State University.
