Cecilia Stewart is Vice President, Global Business Intelligence, Market & Customer Insights at The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU), a leader in global payment services.
Western Union provides consumers and businesses with fast, reliable and convenient ways to send and receive money around the world, to send payments and to purchase money orders. Western Union services are offered through a combined network of more than 500,000 agent locations in 200 countries and territories. In 2011, Western Union completed 226 million consumer-to-consumer transactions worldwide, moving US$73 billion of principal between consumers.
As leader of the global business intelligence function at Western Union, Cecilia is responsible for the design and delivery of market and competitive intelligence, leveraging big data capabilities. She leads the charge in how unstructured information is sourced, transformed into advanced predictive analytics and integrated into core decision processes in the global money movement and payments marketplace.
Prior to joining Western Union, Cecilia worked as Strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company and ran Strategic Planning for Latin American at DHL. Cecilia holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth, is fluent in English and Spanish. A mother and wife, she currently lives in Colorado.
