BOFAct: A Conference ToolkitTrack: BOF Date: Wednesday, 20 September 2006 Time: 21:00 - 22:00 Location: Salon Memling Moderated by Philippe Bruhat, Les Mongueurs de Perl, YAPC Europe Foundation Act is "A Conference Toolkit", a Perl toolkit used to manage 12 Perl conferences in the last 3 years. The authors would like to meet potential users and coders to discuss the features that are missing, and also the publication of an installable distribution on CPAN. We plan to publish an installable release on CPAN in the next months, and greatly improve the toolkit for 2007. YAPC::Europe 2007 will also use Act, as well as several Perl workshops. |
